Dear ezenwa005, It's been awhile! We're here to announce that there will be a lot of big updates coming over to FinchVPN. There will be a full revamp on all existing service. Which include a whole new website on https://finchvpn.com We expect to have everything migrated over by end of October 2022. We're now accepting BETA registration over the new FinchVPN website. However registration are currently only available for BETA access, you may refer to the new website on the registration flow. Existing FinchVPN customer For existing user, you may reach out to us via email or via our Official Telegram Group @FinchVPN_Support to request for your account information to be migrated over to the new system right the way. Do not worry about your existing paid account. All of your subscription will be carry over with exact plan and validity to the new system. All servers on the new system are available for free Yes you heard it right, all the services currently running on the new system will be available for free until further notice. New VPN protocols and encryptions OpenVPN protocol All of the OpenVPN protocol running on the new system are configured with newer, better and faster encryption cipher. All of the servers sided system are running the latest version of OpenVPN servers with improved performance and security suites. WireGuard VPN We had added support for WireGuard VPN protocol on the new system WireGuard® is an extremely simple yet fast and modern VPN that utilizes state-of-the-art cryptography. It aims to be faster, simpler, leaner, and more useful than IPsec, while avoiding the massive headache. It intends to be considerably more performant than OpenVPN. We will be pushing more on WireGuard as it is proven to have better performance (faster network) and better in may ways. Software/Apps We will be retiring the existing FinchVPN Windows application and FinchVPN Android application. Both of the app are deprecated and no longer updated.
